ABC MacIntosh was established in 1998. Managing Director Gary McDowall has seventeen years experience of the business and had recognised a requirement in the market place for a greater emphasis on the service level offered within the industry. ABC developed a strategy to address this need and has built a very healthy business on this basis.

Integral to the provision of high service levels is the structural approach to customer liaison and feedback. This process has led to numerous discussions regarding performance problems encountered by existing or potential customers in specific situations. Responding to such requests has resulted in a number of new product innovations, please see New Product Development for details.

From the very early days of ABC MacIntosh we have concentrated upon the development of fire fighting products which have minimal ecological impact. In partnership with Bio-Ex of France we engage in the continuous development of environmentally friendly solutions to wide range of fire hazard situations. Our enthusiasm for this subject has led to the publication of several articles by Gary McDowall in the trade press and also frequent delivery of papers at UK international trade conferences.

Along with the highly respected Dr Klein of Bonn University, Gary is often asked to present at seminars and conferences where the environmental aspects of fire fighting are a major topic.
